ALBERTA – Wesley J. Alberta, aged 82 of Walker, passed away Saturday June 30, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jennie Alberda; brothers, Bernard and Robert.

Surviving are his children, Allen (Karen) Alberta, Jacqueline (Bob) Walters, Richard (Loretta) Alberta; grandchildren, Zackary Alberta, Jerad and Selena Walters, Holly and Jamie Alberta; brother, Donald (Mick) Alberda; sisters, Joyce (Curt) Stavn, Carol Helmholdt, Judi Vanarsdal; sisters-in-law, Margaret and Marilyn Alberda; several nieces and nephews.

Wesley proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict in the 45th Division Thunderbirds. Graveside services will be held 12:00 Noon Tuesday July 10, 2012 at Boynton Cemetery on Ivanrest Ave., between 64th and 72nd St.
